A Pied Piper for Pakistan

i was going through a friend's blog... he seems quit affected by our country's political and economical condition... i was reading some of his posts and i was thinking about what he was trying to do...

Rebel's Voyage this is his blog if you wanna knw what i mean

Actually he is right about everything he has mentioned... but i think that instead of one superman dragging one corrupt politician out on road [just like that anil kapoor's movie in which he became CM for one day], i think that we should have more of a higher through put method to this political cleansing thing.

Are you thinking what i am thinking ??? yes!! we need a pied piper. We need a stranger dressed in bright red and yellow... who can get rid of the rats...who can lure all the corrupt ones and then make them jump off the cliff... cool method, huh?

what if something happens to me ?

I have a strange heart.. I fell in love with things + people, I m close to… yesterday a strange thought struck me… what will happen to my blog(s) if something happens to me?.. (honestly I don’t have a high traffic blog but still….).

We really don’t like to think about it, but the truth is that we don’t know whats written for us and stuff happens :$

Most of the time when somebody asks “what if something happens?” question, many people don’t have a good plan in such situations. You must think that if something bad happens to you; Who would alert your chat friends, net friends, orkut communities, Facebook pals, online clients??

What would happen to my blog if I am no longer around? Not attractive possibilities, but certainly something to think about.

Appoint a guardian or having a God Father/Mother for my Blog:
Open vacancy, please send your resumes with your passport size photographs and an audio and video clip too ( many people look hell different than they actual are :P)

Sell or pass on my blog:
I would appreciate if my guardian/lawyer gets a written document and an agreement on my terms and conditions.

It’s best to be prepared rather than being sorry, no matter how unattractive the thought is.

Do tell me if you have any interesting plans for your blog in your absence and also if someone would like to make me the guardian :P

Some Where in Time

(personal tribute to the most romantic love story ever filmed)

Elise's soliloquy:
"The man of my dreams has almost faded now.
The one I have created in my mind.
The sort of man each woman dreams of in the deepest
and most secret reaches of her heart.
I can almost see him now before me.
What would I say to him, if he were really here?
Forgive me, I have never known this feeling . . .
I've lived without it all my life.
Is it any wonder, then, that I failed to
recognize you?
You . . . who brought it to me for the first time.
Is there any way I can tell you how my life has changed?
Any way at all to let you know what sweetness you have given me?
There is so much to say . . . I cannot find the words.
Except for these. . .
I love you.
Such would I say to him,
. . . if he were really here."

Imprisoned by my own desires!!!

Its like opening your eyes and watching the world for the first time... its like "Alice" discovering a whole "Wonder Land". Its like when your mom splashes cold water on your face when you aren't getting up for office in the morning... its like we have lived a lie all our life and truth starts from here... its like tears, laughter, joy, heartache... its not an answer to your question, but its like provoking more questions against one question. its like lost in the ocean's waves... its like living again.

Today I finally came to know that the things i desired most were a mere lie to me... they did not matter as i thought they would... and may be im now imprisoned in those stone walls, may be my desires were not those which a person should expect from life. & now when i wanna escape, there isnt a way out!

everyone is imprisoned... before i share mine, i would like to know about my readers. Please share your desires which have imprisoned you... and we will have a poll among the 4 best answers.

Waiting for your responses :)... do share !!!

Found the end of the rainbow.. but therez no pot of gold

My mom always says that people would have been more responsible if there weren’t any mobiles to distract their attentions… in a way she is right, people are always on their mobile phones … while driving, working, running, walking, eating… thank God we cant use mobiles when we are sleeping.. (imagine your sister sleeping in the same room and she is "sleep mobiling"… just like sleep walking :P, scary, isn’t? )

!.. yesterday I received around 10 text messages while I was in my DARBA (my office is more like a closed box coz it doesn’t have any window).. so the text said that there was a beautiful rainbow outside.. it was undoubtedly the most beautiful sight I have ever seen.

… I was thinking about the magical pot, leprechaun's gold when I saw the rainbow. I entered "rainbow" in my brains Search Engine and I received hundreds of results. Havn't you heard the legends??? I m not a single "Point" person as I said earlier.. n I do believe that legends aren't completely false, there is a story behind each legend which could be true…

A lot of legends surround this magical sight. One of them says that at the end of the rainbow there is a pot full of gold coins. If someone finds the end of the rainbow, he can find the pot of gold… but this isn’t as easy as it sounds. As always there is a villain in the way of Hero/Heroine … The Leprechaun… In order to keep their golden treasure safe, leprechauns are said to spend their days scurrying from one end of the rainbow to the next, constantly moving their pot of gold to avoid capture…

Now imagine.. you being at one end while the (DASH) leprechaun is with YOUR pot at the other end,… and when you reach the other end, Leprechaun was quicker in reaching the opposite side before you :P… n when you start going to the other end… … … rainbow disappears :P:P:P ( m sorry I know its not nice to laugh at helpless people but I cant stop myself from enjoying the moment)

On a serious note… ancient people and even until today, people think that the appearance of the rainbow is the sign of the God. Scientifically, the white light of the sun is a mixture of all colors. After rain when the sun's white light rays struck the rain drops, these behave as prisms dividing the white light into different lengths of the waves causing the different colors… I soooo much wish I could explain it exactly like this when I was giving 8th class science exam :P

"According to another legend, if somebody passes underneath the rainbow, it changes sex! Those are men become women, those are women become men!"… now that is funny.. I doubt any sane women would like to be a man :P… specially if she knows a few men…

In Germany, many believed that for forty years before the end of the world, no rainbows would appear. Thus, people were relieved to see a rainbow; as the saying goes: "So the rainbow appear, the world has no fear, until thereafter forty years."… Thank God we are safe for more forty years :P

Again, the point (.).. .. if anyone has ever been the victim of rainbow legends.. do let me knw... i would try looking for Leprechaun too :P... who doesnt want a pot of gold coins :P

Piece of Cup Cake!!!

Like myself there would be many others who try and want to write something daily for their blogs.. but they fail... so i thought why dont i share my expertise with all the helpless people out there.. n also.. doesnt your mom alwayz tells you to help the needy people??

so start doing what i tell you to do ..

1. Open your Microsoft word page.. it can be any version of microsoft, and if you dont have your office installed (like our "phini" [no offence jani!!!] :P ) you can use any writing pad.. word pad, notepad. Yar!!!! Just find a place to write.
Then keep staring at the blank screen until your superman vision burns two holes in your computer screen.

2. Sleep as much as you can. After one month of hibernation, your brain itself would like to write something and you would be able to write a book on sleeping habbits and its interpretations I hope.

3. Take a long walk and bang with everything on the way with your head. Be Careful not to bang cars and ladies if you are a guy :P… I wont be held responsible for the consequences.
Bang into trees, walls, piller, poles.. this actually stimulates brain cells

4. Be inspired by our very own spiderman… hang upside down from the ceiling (b careful, do not try kissing someone in that posture). This might propel more blood to your brain and may lead to more ideas popping up in your head… (by the way it’s a research that kissing also increase blood flow to your brain :P.. im not giving you ideas, just shared what I read :P)

5. Get Married* (gives you more tragic incidents to write on). How else do u think "Ekta Kapoor" came up with so many saas baho dramas??
*Conditions Apply

6. Stay under water for 3 minutes or longer if necessary. ( this specially applies if you are very passionate for pursuing writing as a career, if you are not able to come up with good ideas, I say therez no use of such life)

7. Buy a new pen/pencil/stationary… ( this ones helps me a lot :D)

8. Attend a scientific lecture. Don’t forget to bring ur pen and notepad. I am pretty sure that you will get an idea every 2 min.

9. Remember your pak studies/IT entrepreneurship/cyber Ethics/ English/ and QTB's most boring and full of sleeping drought classes (in which you framed most of your short stories/poems). There may still be ideas that occurred to you then and you never wrote them down.

10. Read latest books in market written by famous politician. It will encourage you to write anything or everything as you see… even crap sells ;) (havnt you read Musharaf's Biography yet???)

11) Get inspired by this post and try to act on atleast three of the above ten points and try to write …. I assure you all will be thanking me someday ;)

CAUTION: Potential side effects may include burnt computers, bumps on head, broken down trees, global warming, hallucinations of being spiderman, being beaten up in public… not advisable for "Passionate writers" as following No. 6 will lead to severe reactions…and most importantly there is no way back once you follow No. 5…
